How to Bond with Kids at Rainy Season

It has been raining yesterday and kids stay at home.  As mothers, this is a perfect time to bond and be with our kids without worrying about school work.  Here are some several ideas to do during rainy days:

Share Pop-corns
Selecting a nice movie to watch for your kids and you will surely create a nice bonding moment.  Aside from the fact that you can cuddle your children and be under your comforter, it may also be a time for sharing nice values with them.  There are movies which can actually teach them these ethics through showing what might have happened
if they disobey you.  Also, movies can exercise their imagination and creativity, which can really spice up their inquisitive minds.
Share the Kitchen
Our home’s kitchen has always been our territory.  Mothers do the dishes, wash them, and clean them.  It will be a great bonding moment with your child, especially with your daughters to do some dish. A hot soup or champorado these rainy days will not only teach them a new skill of cooking, but can also add up to her pride that she can actually do it just like her mother.
Share the Rain
Splashing outside the rain is also a nice thing to do.  Gear up and have a blast outside when you feel it’s safe to do so.  Even though there are kids who dislike taking a bath, kids surely love rain!
Share some Games
Kiddies love games!  They sweat to run and have fun! Sharing games during rainy season is a nice activity which you and your kid can laugh and giggle together.  You may build a castle or a house out of your cushion pillows, mattresses, etc which will serve as doors or walls or gates.  You can also build a pseudo pool out of your kids’ bricks.  You can also let them portray a character out of his dress locker and toys.  These games are really exciting and can actually enhance creativity.

So mommies!  Pull-up and enjoy even when raining outside.  Bond with your kiddos.  J
